The International Council of Nursing (ICN) celebrated the new associations that joined the Council, as part of the activities of the international conference held in cooperation with the Emirates Nursing Association, and thus the Saudi Nursing Association becomes the official representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Council after the absence of the Kingdom’s membership in the Council for years.
The Chairman of the Saudi Nursing Society, Dr. Muhammad Al-Ghamdi sincere congratulations to the wise leadership, the country and all nursing cadres, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joining the membership of the International Nursing Council ICN represented by the Saudi Nursing Association.
Added Dr. Al-Ghamdi, who is participating in the international conference in the UAE, said that the Kingdom’s accession to the International Nursing Council enhances the Kingdom’s position and positive role in developing the nursing profession, highlights the vital and significant role of nursing cadres in Saudi Arabia, and achieves the vision of rational leadership in the goals of Vision 2030.
In the spirit of achieving perfection in improving patient safety, the Saudi Patient Safety Center, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and the Saudi Professional Nursing Association have cooperated distinctively and launched the Nursing Percentage Initiative; Its aim is to improve patient safety and improve the safety of nursing staff as well.
